Girls Height Growth Chart
for girls of "White" race/ethnicity*, ages 2 through 18.

The thicker red line in the center of the chart is the 50th percentile line, (like the average), which shows that 50% of Girls have Height (or stature) shorter than the line, and 50% are taller. At the lowest red line, (5th percentile), only 5% of the population of Girls is shorter.

The data source for this chart is the NHANES III survey, conducted in America during 1988 to 1994. The CDC used this dataset, as well as datasets from several older surveys to construct the CDC standard pediatric growth charts.
