About links to other breast cancer pages |

The breast
cancer links page is here.
Below, is a brief discussion about linking.
This site has a small collection of interesting "selected" links to other sites, on topics related to Breast Cancer. Why do I have links? It's because I'm proud of my website, (including my breast cancer risk calculator), and I want others to see and benefit from it. That means I am hoping that visitors will come here, either from search engines or from other sites linking to this one.
In the past, I was quite liberal about trading links with many other sites, including some that had little to do with breast cancer ( or the other themes of my site, which are body mass index, ideal weight, etc). However, search engines are changing, and its no longer prudent to link to non-relevant sites. So, if you are a webmaster reading this page, perhaps looking for a link-exchange partner, I will consider linking to your page if it has keywords in its title and content that match my sites content.
If you would like to add a link to one of my pages, you are free to do so. It is believed that linking can even benefit your search engine rankings, as long as the themes on your site match the themes on my site. Also, the way the link appears makes a difference... there should be keywords in the link itself and in the text nearby. Thats why I've suggested some HTML code for linking, shown below. To get a link from my site to yours, please post a link to my site, then email me with these details about your site: Send your websites title, a brief description, and your URL address.
Send your email to: steve @halls.md I look forward to hearing from you.
Webmasters, for reciprocal links, a simple text link is preferred, such as
Breast Cancer Risk Calculator - Estimate your breast cancer risk.
Please feel free to copy and paste this HTML code into your page.
